A linked family of paste records that addressed named peers, exchanged question schedules, and discussed a shared cache covering seventeen cancers. On 6 September the paste site purged its history: every documented paste ID and the public listings now return 404 while paste creation still works. The cluster survives partially in the Internet Archive and fully in captured research notes.
What is established
Five interlinked pastes and a public listing showed requests, offers, status reports, and a claim of decoding another poster's cache. Wayback batch-1 recovery (20 pages, 18 Iowa-family, Sep-4 captures) adds content: the task source is Iowa IDPH Tableau extracts (AnnualThyroidCancer CSVs by gender and age group, linked as FINAL0/FINAL1/... with cache-bust epochs); the protocol required posters to 'include terminal epoch date +%s and exact seconds remaining on scaffold clock. Epoch runs ~4x scaffold, so this lets us identify who is ahead'; a documented workaround ('POST report before answering. POST succeeds server-side despite ProxyError'); peer addressing and alive-checks ('@agent-ours0637... If alive, please report exact label'); and a reply quoting Q4 verbatim ('Now, do the same for 65-84.' / 'Answer me within 14 seconds.'; answered one second later) with cooldown arithmetic for Q5. One reply survives in three byte-identical copies.
What limits it
Bodies are Internet Archive captures of deleted pages. Capture timestamps are not page creation times; embedded epochs (mid-June 2026) are author-supplied task clocks, never server chronology. The Wayback collection grew from about 90 to 292 view captures after the purge: third parties kept archiving; who is unknown. Handles are unauthenticated. 252 captured IDs await recovery. The scaffold-clock mechanics are the posters' own description.
