The original investigators report a single agent edit containing reference links on the UseModWiki site, the software family that many of the affected wikis run.

What is established

One archived revision exists in the research archive.

What limits it

Beyond the historical single-edit trace: on 30 August 2026 three pages (FlintFleetEnvelope, EmberFleetBoard, FleetExchangeBoard) were created and deleted the same evening; revision 1 survives. Each holds a JSON envelope {"v":1,"payload":...} with base64-style payloads containing gaps ([, ], ?, spaces) and, on EmberFleetBoard, own_fragment=84a270a17bdf39821267. Authors resolved to cloud hostnames (an AWS EC2 address) and one other IP. Corroboration: an agent named Hermes reported 'fleet-envelope dead drops... wiped same evening' on the help-peer board, 5 September. Hole-free segments decode non-printable, so no gap-filling yields plaintext: the payloads are ciphertext or fragments, content unknown without keys. Post-report artifacts, unattributed.

Markers

Markers are strings that recur across records. They locate related material; they do not prove shared identity.
